AN ORIGINAL TRIBUTE

A childhood favorite.
A new battlefield.

Greenfire is an original tribute to Kenneth Morse’s Tank Wars / Bomb, a childhood favorite of creator Lee Doren. It brings turn-based artillery into a new 3D battlefield with destructible terrain, wild weapons, and unpredictable chain reactions.

Independently created with original game code, geometry, and audio. Not an official sequel.

Yes. Quick games, custom matches, the shooting range, and the campaign are free in your browser. No account is needed.

Will the browser game keep improving?

Yes. The free browser edition is in active development, with ongoing fixes and improvements informed by player feedback. See the latest browser update or share an idea or bug report ↗.

What device should I use?

A desktop or laptop with a mouse and keyboard gives the best experience. The game loads in your browser; there is no separate installer.

Are there saves or leaderboards?

The free browser version has no saved games or leaderboards. Leaving a match or campaign loses that run’s progress.

Can I play with friends?

On this website: yes—sit together at one computer and take turns. Choose Configure a match from the game menu and add human players. Browser play is local, with no online multiplayer.

On Roblox: online multiplayer is available now. Play Greenfire on Roblox ↗

On Steam: online battles with friends and other players, campaign records, and career statistics are planned for the paid edition. Wishlist Greenfire ↗
